James Sorrentino (Director)

James is from a background in commercial business development and has been in the property industry for 8 years. James’ primary focus is on Planning and Development control. Besides running the business James maintains relationships with the companies Key Suppliers and works closely with our selection of Local Planning Authorities to keep ahead of the Local Borough’s Plans and demands. In that respect the company has a complete understanding of Micro and Macro planning issues.

Roger Higgins (Finance and Land Consultant)

Roger has worked in the financial industry for over 30 years and became fully involved in the property market in 1995. Roger's experience in finance with Colonial and Pearl underpins his work today, where he specialises in property valuations and finance. In latter years Roger has consulted for Countrywide Plc, the largest estate agents network in the country, making significant contributions to their land acquisitions business. With over 40 years experience in property finance Roger is a key contributor to our Land and Acquisition team.

Scott Franklin (Partner)

Scott is a Chartered Surveyor and has over 20 years of property experience. His career started as a residential agent and then he worked in the West End as a commercial agent for 8 years. He then joined as one of three heading the acquisition department for a £500 million development arm of the Ladbroke Group Plc which concentrated on large scale office and residential redevelopments Since 1990 Scott has acted as a principle carrying out both residential and mixed developments and has a wide experience of site assembly property acquisition and finance.

Stephen Garford (Legal Consultant)

Stephen is a consultant in the Property practice based in Hammonds London office. His particular expertise covers all areas of commercial property, acting for developers, occupiers, investors and local authorities. He enjoys complex projects, and devising bespoke solutions and documentation accordingly. Partner, Hammonds 1995 to 2002; Consultant, Hammonds 2003 to date

David Norris (Chartered Planning Consultant)

David has 18 years experience as a planner working in both Local Government and the private sector. He has worked for four Council’s in rural and urban areas, the latter being for the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames where he held the position of Principal Planning Officer. More recently David has worked for two national Housebuilders in the capacity of planning manager where he has helped steer some large housing projects through the planning system.

Matthew Allchurch (Qualified Architect 9 years)

Prior to forming maa in 1998 worked for BDP on Wimbledon new no.1 court and the Hampden Gurney School which was short listed for the prestigious Stirling prize for architecture. takes an overview of all maa project work and detailed work on specific projects including the new concept Asda on Sutton high street which is due for completion at the end of 2003.

David Partridge (Landscape & Arboricultural Consultant)

Provides Landscape and Arboricultural Consultancy and Project Management Services and has over 14 years experience within both the public and private sectors. Experience of all issues associated with environmental factors & development and land management. David has particular expertise in the field of arboriculture and is a past Chairman of the London Tree Officers Association.

Richard Broome BA(Hons) DipLA DipUD MLI

Richard Broome has over 15 years experience of urban regeneration and the design of the public realm, both in Britain and abroad. Richard has worked on urban design and masterplanning projects in a wide variety of contexts and scales. His principle skill is in the creation of dynamic yet contextual solutions, promoting the spatial contrast of streets and spaces. He has a thorough knowledge of both retail and residential environments and understands the key elements behind their requirements for regeneration. He has worked on significant city centre renaissance projects in Liverpool, Manchester, Sheffield and Belfast.
